Carole Wainaina, President of the Coca Cola Africa Foundation (CCAF), informed RFFA that they selected the ANCHOR partnership to be their Preferred and Primary OVC partner on the continent of Africa for the next three to five years. Two years ago, CCAF provided initial seed funding for the development of ANCHOR. CCAF has now committed $1.2 Million over a three year period, with the majority of the funds going toward the care and support of the children. The major funder in the ANCHOR program is USAID who committed $8.1 Million over a five year period.
