Join the Australian Coolamon Rotary Club
in Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to Raise Funds for AIDS Orphans in Africa

On 8 August 2007, a group of fun loving Rotarians and Friends will be climbing the breathtaking Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania in Africa. The climbers will be raising urgent monies ($100,000 is the target goal) to assist in the relief of some desperate situations there for orphans in Africa. We welcome any persons interested in climbing with us or who would like to sponsor us. Come aboard to the roof of Africa with us.

PROJECT INFO

- 10-20 climbers
- Estimate from $4,000-$8,000 (max) per climber. Personal cost will include all accomodation, travel, climb gear and safari
- Albatros Africa is organising the climb
- Professor John Dwyer is our Medical Advisor on HIV/AIDS
- The plan is for some climbers to stay at the school of Saint Jude where we will assist in any way required at the time-opportunity to meet your sponsored children
- Donations to the school of Saint Jude are tax deductable through RAWCS-RFFA and Operation Medical Hope are registered charities and will be tax deductable through RAWCS both RFFA and Operation Medical Hope are adminsitered by Rotary.
